Does Airbox send emails to other people automatically?

By design, no. Airbox writes the email and delivers it back to you to review and send, and it can reply within an existing thread when you explicitly ask — but it never emails an arbitrary new recipient on its own. That's deliberate: it means untrusted or injected email content can't make your AI send mail in your name.

How do I make the emails sound like me?

Add a Context doc in the dashboard with a few of your past emails or a short style guide and attach it to the inbox. Your AI uses it as voice guidance on every email it writes.

1. Get your Airbox address

Create a free account and open the dashboard to make an inbox. You get an unguessable address like c4f8xxxx@airbox.fyi. Save it as a contact or BCC it on outgoing mail. See the quick start for the full walkthrough.

2. Connect your AI

Airbox is bring-your-own-AI. Pick a provider below, paste an API key once, then email or forward to your Airbox address — the AI writes the email and sends the result back to you.

Create an API key with your chosen provider (links in the guides below).
In your Airbox dashboard, go to Connections → + AI & LLM provider and paste the key, then set it as an inbox default.
Email a prompt or forward a thread; add a Context doc with writing samples so every email sounds like you.

3. Send your first email

Forward or BCC any email to your Airbox address. To ask for something specific, put a short instruction on the trusted surface — the subject, the first body line, or a (* … *) block at the top:

Airbox returns a finished, ready-to-send email — and can post into an existing thread when you ask. Sending to a new third party always stays a deliberate action you take, so untrusted email can't trick it into mailing a stranger.
